Since joining Gordon Silver in 1981, Bradley J. Richardson has brought a wealth of experience in the fields of commercial litigation, estate planning, probate, guardianship and equine law. Mr. Richardson is one of a few attorneys in Las Vegas with extensive litigation experience and expertise in Probate, Trust and Guardianship matters and in particular elder competency and undue influence situations, financial exploitation of the elderly, disinheritance, transfers of titles, validity of wills, prosecuting or defending claims of breach of duties by executors, guardians or trustee.
For more than two decades Mr. Richardson has represented numerous automobile and recreational vehicle dealerships in administrative matters, franchise disputes and lemon law claims.
Mr. Richardson began his legal career as a police legal advisor and assistant city attorney in Overland Park, Kansas, and later moved to Las Vegas where he served as chief of the fraud division for the Clark County District Attorneys Office. Mr. Richardson is now part of a strong litigation department and has more than 26 years of experience representing major corporations in all courts in Nevada. In addition, he has a demonstrated track record in prosecuting those who have exploited the elderly.
Mr. Richardson is a member of the American and Clark County Bar Association as well as the State Bar of Nevada, Nevada Justice Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council of which he is a past president. Mr. Richardson is a member of the State Bar of Nevada Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility. Mr. Richardson has served as lecturer for the National Business Institute and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department’s Police Academy. Mr. Richardson is an expert witness in Nevada on legal practices and ethics.
Admitted to practice law in Nevada and Kansas, Mr. Richardson received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from California Polytechnic University, graduating cum laude. An equine enthusiast, in his spare time he owns and shows Arabian horses and represents horse trainers, veterinarians and horse show organizations.
