ARLENE CASILLAS Associate Litigation Department - Government Investigations and Business Crimes Group Arlene Casillas is an associate in the Government Investigations and Business Crimes Group. Her practice focuses on criminal matters, government investigations and business crimes. Prior to joining Gordon Silver, Ms. Casillas served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Valerie Adair. During law school, she was an extern for the Honorable Judge Valerie Adair, an extern for the Clark County Public Defender's Office and a Law Clerk for the Clark County Special Public Defender's Office. Ms. Casillas also practiced as a Student Attorney for the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic by participating in both Immigration and Criminal Appellate programs. She further was the founding President of La Voz, the Hispanic Law Association at William S. Boyd School of Law. Ms. Casillas is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is admitted to practice law in Nevada. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts and graduated cum laude with a degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Marketing. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Casillas has proven to be an asset in better serving the Spanish-speaking community.
